Curated sonic experiences, composed to calm the nervous system, focus the mind, and satisfy the soul.
At Groundstate, every sound bath begins with physical presence. We anchor our sessions in the tactile resonance of time-honored instruments—hand-hammered Himalayan singing bowls, pure quartz crystal harps, resonant bronze gongs, Tibetan bells, and the 21-string monochord. Played live by hand in the room, these raw materials generate physical acoustic waves you feel in your body as much as you hear with your ears.
But no two Groundstate experiences are ever identical.
Beneath and around the acoustic instruments, we weave a living electronic ecosystem: modular synthesizers, analog drones, and custom binaural engines. We also translate the room itself into sound—using environmental sensors to transform ambient light, temperature shifts, and the collective presence of those gathered into real-time sonic textures.
It is an evolving, contextual dialogue between ancient acoustics and modern synthesis, tailored entirely to the space, the moment, and the people within it.
Hand-hammered brass and pure quartz glass. Struck and circled live by hand so their resonant physical tones sustain and overlap—forming the acoustic core of the sound bath.
Crystal harp—also called a crystal lyra, crystal singing harp, or crystalophone—alongside the 21-string Monochord, chimes, and Tibetan bells. Cascading glass shimmers and a single harmonic hum open awareness.
Deep weather systems of physical sound. Low-frequency acoustic waves from bronze gongs that wash through the room.
A whole array of synthesizers and experimental instruments. They lay underneath the sound bath, adding rich texture, subtle movement, and an immersive sonic landscape.
Choose a one-minute set. Layers arrive on their own; touch any mark to hear its instrument now.
